Thanksgiving Table Décor and Inspiration
We have put together an intimate table setting featuring one of our custom designed dining tables to provide inspiration as we head into the Thanksgiving long weekend. Take a look through the photo gallery below to see the step by step process!
Add some interest to the wall or room. The rest of the table décor will be based on the surroundings.
Because we wanted to focus on the warm wood tone of the table, we added placemats as our base. Chargers work too in this case. If you’re using a tablecloth, opt for a runner in the centre of the table instead.
We used dried florals in glass vases as our main centerpiece. This will be the largest item on the table, and will be built up from there.
Next we added some autumn décor pieces to bring in a Thanksgiving holiday aesthetic. The warm metals contrast with the glass and wood. Preserved wooden discs tie in with the natural wood in the wall art, and act as the perfect support for tealights. A variation of textures within the same colour palette creates a beautiful harmony, and the candlelight adds a gentle warmth.
If your Thanksgiving dinner is buffet style, a nice final touch is to add your place settings. We opted for wooden salad bowls to add a warmth and contrast to the organically shaped white plates. Black napkins bring out the details in the placemats below, and their simple placement allow guests to quickly get comfortable at their seats.
